Republic of Niger Features Indian Gods on Stamps

During a festive season of India, Republic of Niger issued two stamps featuring Indian God and Goddess. Niger is a West African country having bilateral relationship with India.The Niger Post, to celebrate Indian Festive season, issued stamps with Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi. The first stamp is hexagonal shape in the shape of Ganesha with partially gold foiling.
The other one is a pair of round stamps featuring both Goddes Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. It is decorated with red Swarovski and comes on a souvenir sheet in the shape of open lotus flower.
